The 6-35 kV combined-type polymer-housed zinc-oxide surge arrester is a protective device used to protect the insulation of power equipment against overvoltage hazards. It is a new type of arrester that limits the overvoltage between phase and earth and at the same time effectively limits the phase-to-phase overvoltage. One combined arrester can perform the function of six conventional arresters. Zinc-oxide varistors are used inside the arrester as the main element; they have good V-I characteristics and provide reliable protection for the protected equipment. It is now widely selected by power systems. A single 6-35 kV combined-type polymer-housed zinc-oxide surge arrester can simultaneously limit both phase-to-phase and phase-to-earth overvoltages, replacing six conventional arresters.

Our company is able to carry out physical property tests on the rubber of the product housing, such as tensile strength, elongation, hardness and vulcanisation characteristics, as well as type tests of the product, and has modern scientific management together with advanced production and test equipment.
