Product Overview
The TBBZ series HV reactive power automatic compensation device, according to the network and load conditions of the 6 kV/10 kV supply busbar, automatically tracks switching of capacitor banks via the control system to perform automatic tracking compensation of reactive power, bringing the power factor above 0.9. It greatly optimizes power quality, saves energy and reduces losses, and improves the transmission capacity of the transmission and distribution system.

- The site shall be free of explosive media; the surrounding medium shall not contain corrosive or insulation-damaging gases or conductive media, and shall not be full of water vapor or have serious mold.
Product Features
- The device can operate for a long time at steady-state overvoltage of 1.1 × rated working voltage;
- The device can operate continuously at overcurrent with r.m.s. value not exceeding 1.3 × the rated current of the capacitor bank;
- The device uses vacuum contactors for switching and can be operated frequently;
- Each capacitor bank is fitted with a discharge coil, reducing the residual voltage below 50 V within 5 s;
- Each capacitor bank can be protected by relays or a microprocessor-based protection control unit, providing over-current, voltage unbalance, system undervoltage and overvoltage protection for the capacitor bank;
- When a capacitor bank fails, that bank can be cut off without affecting the use of other banks;
- Each capacitor is protected by an expulsion fuse, and each bank is fitted with surge arresters for operating overvoltage and lightning overvoltage protection;
- Large-screen LCD display controller, displaying system voltage, current and power factor in real time; with RS232/RS485 standard communication interfaces and “four-remote” functions;
- Each bank can be fitted with a reactor to suppress inrush current or harmonic amplification.
