Product Overview
The JN15-12 indoor HV earthing switch is a product of advanced domestic standard. Its performance complies with GB1985-2004 “AC High-Voltage Disconnectors and Earthing Switches” and IEC 129; it is used in 50 Hz AC power systems of 12 kV and below, can be combined with various types of high-voltage switchgear, and also serves as earthing protection during maintenance of high-voltage equipment. This switch can be used together with a live-display device.
Type Designation
JN15-12/31.5-80: J - earthing switch; N - indoor; 15 - design serial number; 12 - rated voltage (kV); 31.5 - rated short-time withstand current (kA); 80 - rated short-circuit closing current (kA).

The JN15-12/31.5 indoor HV earthing switch offers phase centring distances of 210, 230, 250 and 275 mm, a rated 1-min power-frequency withstand voltage of 42 kV, a lightning impulse withstand voltage of 75 kV, and a mechanical life of 2000 operations.
