Product Overview
GN27-40.5 Indoor High-voltage Disconnector is a new type of product used in 33kV/35kV power systems of rated voltage 40.5 kV, AC 50 Hz, for opening and closing circuits that are live but unloaded; it is a replacement product designed and produced to supersede older products. It can be used with high-voltage switchgear or independently, and is fitted with a CS6-2 operating mechanism. All versions adopt a reinforced insulation design and can be used in class II polluted sites. The series is of vertical-rotating blade type with a three-phase common base. The fixed contact on the break side is designed as a swinging multi-finger contact, offering the advantages of low contact pressure per finger, low wear, a large heat-dissipation area and low operating torque; in addition, large-creepage post insulators and pull-rod insulators provide high insulation performance and high mechanical strength. To meet various needs, flush-mounted, wall-through and earthing-blade versions are available. The series can be installed horizontally, vertically or inclined. These diverse installation methods enable the GN27-40.5 indoor high-voltage disconnector to suit the layout requirements of different high-voltage switchgear.
