Product Overview
The DCD-1-15kV outdoor high-voltage disconnector（high-end type) is an outdoor pole-mounted single-phase disconnector that provides maintenance personnel with a visible break and can also serve as a disconnecting point. It is a double-column disconnector: the insulators and bolts are locked on a hot-dip galvanized base; the switch is operated by pulling the pull ring. The opening limit of the blade defaults to 160° (changeable to 90° on site or removed entirely). When installing the HGW26 disconnector, an optional back plate can be fitted, clamped on the cross-arm to fix the switch.
Installation
The DCD-1-15 kV outdoor single-pole disconnector has single-post and double-post mounting modes: suspension or vertical mounting, using a single cross-arm with clamp or a double cross-arm (see the product sample for installation drawings). The M12 bolts on the terminals shall be tightened to about 80 N·m. See the figure below for the mounting method and note the bolt direction.

Service Conditions
① Ambient temperature: upper limit +40℃, lower limit -30℃ (special order for frigid regions); ② Altitude: not exceeding 1000 m (above 1000 m the insulation level may be corrected per GB311.1); ③ Wind speed: not more than 35 m/s; ④ Ice thickness: not more than 10 mm; ⑤ Seismic intensity: not exceeding degree 8; ⑥ The site shall be free of flammable, explosive, heavy dust, chemical corrosion and violent vibration. The DCD-1-15kV outdoor high-voltage disconnector maintains flexible operation and reliable isolation for a long time under the above normal service conditions.
