Product Overview
The GW13 series neutral-point disconnector is for opening/closing the transformer neutral-point connection under no-load; with the blade in the normal open position it provides an insulation distance meeting safety requirements. The output shaft of the operating mechanism rotates 180 degrees to open/close.The GW13 neutral-point disconnector is of single-pole structure and can be operated either as a single pole or as three poles linked.
This neutral-point disconnector complies with GB1985 “AC high-voltage disconnectors and earthing switches” and IEC-129 (1984). It is reliable, safe, simple in structure and easy to install and adjust, widely used in 63 kV-110 kV substations. Main product: GW13-40.5/630-8
Service Conditions
- Altitude not exceeding 1000 m;
- Ambient air temperature: upper limit +40℃, lower limit -40℃;
- Wind pressure not exceeding 700 Pa;
- Seismic intensity not exceeding degree 8;
- Ice thickness not more than 10 mm;
- Post insulator pollution class: class 0 for the standard type, per user requirement for the anti-pollution type.
Structural Features
1. The bearing turntable structure is improved to make the bearing housing waterproof; with oiling holes and adjusting screws, the switch is more integral and easier to maintain.
2. Copper brazing is used between the conductive rods and contacts and between the rods and the finger seats, plus flexible connections between fingers and finger seats, greatly reducing the main-circuit resistance compared with bolted connections and reducing contact heating in operation. The earthing rod uses highly conductive aluminum alloy and the contacts are copper castings; flexible connections are added at the rod-base connection and between the earthing fingers and their seats, greatly enhancing the earthing circuit conductivity.
3. Exposed conductive parts are silver-plated copper: bright, elegant, strongly corrosion-resistant and durable.
4. The shaft-hole fit is improved from iron-copper to copper-copper or stainless steel-copper, solving the seizing problem in long-term outdoor use. Exposed standard parts are stainless steel and metal parts are hot-dip galvanized for corrosion resistance. These treatments enable the GW13 neutral-point disconnector to adapt to long-term outdoor operation.
