Product Overview
The FN5-12R/630A indoor high-voltage load switch, with rated voltage 12 kV and rated current 630 A, is suitable for AC 50 Hz, 12 kV distribution networks to break load current and make short-circuit current. This load switch is widely applied in industrial and mining enterprises as well as urban and rural distribution networks.
The FN5-12 indoor high-voltage load switch and switch-fuse combination apparatus (hereinafter referred to as the switch) is suitable for AC 50 Hz, 12 kV distribution networks, for breaking load current and making short-circuit current. The switch with fuse can interrupt short-circuit current for protection. It can be equipped with a CS6-1 manual operating mechanism, the dedicated CS manual operating mechanism, or a CJ electric operating mechanism.
Product features: This product is a load switch-fuse combination apparatus (the 'R' in the model indicates an integrated current-limiting high-voltage fuse). Normal operating current is switched by the switch, while short-circuit faults are interrupted by the fuse, providing combined protection and especially suitable for primary distribution circuits requiring short-circuit protection and breaking. The FN5-12R/630A load switch has a rated current of 630 A, a 2 s rated short-time withstand current of 20 kA and a rated peak withstand current of 50 kA. As a switch-fuse combination apparatus, the FN5-12R/630A combines a load switch and a current-limiting fuse, and is able to break active load, closed-loop and cable charging currents.

Normal Service Conditions
— Altitude not exceeding 1000m;
— Ambient air temperature: upper limit +40°C, lower limit -25°C (not lower than -5°C for electric mechanism);
— Relative humidity: daily average not exceeding 95%, monthly average not exceeding 90% (at +25°C);
— The surrounding air shall not be significantly polluted by corrosive or flammable gases, water vapor, etc.;
— No frequent severe vibration.
