Overview
The FLN36-12D indoor AC high-voltage load switch is a medium-voltage switching device developed by Gaosuo Electric Co., Ltd. with reference to international advanced technology and in accordance with relevant Chinese power-system standards. Its performance fully complies with IEC 60694 and IEC 62271-103, as well as the national standards GB3804-2004 (AC high-voltage load switching devices for rated voltages from 3.6 kV to 40.5 kV), GB1985-2004 (AC disconnectors and earthing switches) and GB/T11022-1999 (Common specifications for high-voltage switchgear and controlgear). It is the main switching element of ring main units. Integrating closing, opening and earthing in one unit, the switch is housed in a fully sealed, reinforced epoxy enclosure filled with SF6 gas at 0.05 MPa, realizing the three functions with minimal parts, which ensures product quality and reliability. It is maintenance-free and can operate safely for more than 20 years under normal conditions. This device is widely used in 12kV ring main units and cable distribution networks.
Type Designation
The FLN36-12D load switch model designation follows the standard coding for indoor AC high-voltage load switching devices; see the schematic diagram below for terminal and dimension details. The FLN36-12D load switch has a rated current of 630 A, a 4 s rated short-time withstand current of 20 kA and a rated peak withstand current of 50 kA. With a rated active load and closed-loop breaking current of 630 A and a cable charging breaking current of 10 A, the FLN36-12D is suitable for 12 kV distribution networks.
