European Cable Branch Box
The European-style cable branch box is cable-ization equipment widely used in power distribution networks in recent years. Its main features are double doors and butt-connecting bushings used as connecting busbars, with outstanding advantages such as short length, clear cable arrangement and no large-span crossing of three-core cables. The cable connectors used comply with the DIN47636 standard. The DFW-12 series cable branch box has a rated voltage of 12 kV, a rated current of 630 A and a dynamic current of 50 kA/0.3 s.
Bolted-type cable connectors with a rated current of 630 A are generally used.

- Installation environment: the surrounding air shall not be obviously polluted by corrosive or combustible gases or water vapor, and the site has no violent vibration.

Structural Description
The DFW-12 series cable branch box is of outdoor design with a fully sealed structure: fully insulated, dust-proof, moisture-proof, flood-resistant, corrosion-resistant and highly adaptable to the environment. The enclosure protection class reaches IP33. The cable connector brackets are made of stainless steel, and the enclosure is made of stainless steel plate or sprayed cold-rolled plate. The DFW-12 series cable branch box provides various tank configurations for 2~7 ways, with outline dimensions varying with the connection scheme.
The cable connector bracket is located in the upper part of the branch box to support the bushings, which fix the cable connectors; if surge arresters are provided, they are installed at the ends of the cable connectors. In addition, a short-circuit fault indicator and a live-line indicator are also installed in the box. All live parts of the main circuit inside are insulated by prefabricated plug-in cable terminations. The cable partition is located in the lower part of the tank, with cable fixing clamps and earthing terminals. The tank layout is reasonable, small in volume, compact, elegant, easy to install and maintenance-free.
