The ZW32-12FG/630A outdoor high-voltage vacuum sectionalizing circuit breaker (watchdog switch) is outdoor distribution equipment with a rated voltage of 12 kV, three-phase AC 50 Hz.The breaker is mainly used for breaking and making load current, overload current and short-circuit current in power systems, and provides instantaneous and earth-fault protection, selectable reclosing counts, local/remote control and remote communication; it is used for protection and control in substation and industrial & mining distribution systems.When a fault occurs inside a customer's installation connected to a 12 kV line via a T-connection, or although it occurs on the customer side of the incoming switch, its protection operating time does not coordinate with the substation outgoing-switch protection, the substation outgoing switch will trip.If the fault is permanent and the substation reclosing fails, an accident within one medium-voltage customer's boundary will black out the entire distribution trunk line.Such common cascading accidents in the network cause heavy losses to society.The ZW32-12FG/630A outdoor high-voltage vacuum sectionalizing circuit breaker (watchdog switch) (hereinafter referred to as the breaker), installed at the responsibility boundary of the overhead line, i.e. at the front end of the customer's incoming line, automatically removes single-phase-to-earth faults and phase-to-phase short-circuit faults inside the customer's boundary, preventing faults from spreading to the trunk line, ensuring supply safety of non-fault customers and improving supply reliability.Therefore, the ZW32-12FG/630A outdoor high-voltage vacuum sectionalizing circuit breaker (watchdog switch) is widely used on overhead lines of urban and rural distribution networks.The ZW32-12FG/630A outdoor high-voltage vacuum sectionalizing circuit breaker is easy to install, requires little maintenance and can operate reliably on outdoor distribution network overhead lines for a long time.
